The Jewelers Building |

Featured in scenes from "Batman Begins" and the most recent "Transformers" film, 35 E. Wacker—also known as the Jewelers Building—is one of Chicago's most iconic buildings. Built in the mid/late 1920s, the building once accommodated parking on the lower floors and utilized a car lift to ensure safe transfer for jewelry merchants. The building has recently undergone historic renovations, with the facade being maintained and the lobby brought back to its original splendor. Millions of dollars worth of infrastructure upgrades have attracted many new office tenants within the more modern configuration. |

Greeley and Hansen is an environmental engineering firm specializing in water/wastewater and utility management consulting. Tour the company's national headquarters, which was recently renovated to create a workplace environment that promotes greater employee engagement and collaboration. The renovation implements features that reduce the firm's carbon footprint, including energy-efficient lighting, low-flow plumbing, and the use of recycled and natural materials from local sources. The office redesign also features a casual café /social lounge area and a "work bar" for employees. IFMA presented Greeley and Hansen with the 2011 "Facility of the Year" award. |

United Parcel Services processes approximately 1.5 million packages per day at the Chicago Area Consolidation Hub located in Hodgkins, Ill. Spanning 1.5 million square feet, the facility employs 6,000 people.
